Samsung Partners wtih UQ Communications and YTL Communications To Boost Mobile WiMAX In AsiaWe have just seen the Bada which allows developers to create applications for millions of new Samsung mobile phones, and consumers to enjoy a fun and diverse mobile experience and now seem like Samsung may have a big plan for next year.

Samsung has just announced its partnership with UQ Communications Inc., the Japan-based Mobile WiMAX service provider, aiming to get Mobile WiMAX base stations in addition to the Mobile WiMAX networks which was deployed in the major metropolitan centers of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.

That is not enough for Samsung, It also joined the WiMAX Centre of Excellence, which is led by YTL Communications, the Malaysian Mobile WiMAX service provider. The WiMAX Innovation Network encourages and supports the development of Mobile WiMAX applications and products, and has been created to build a "WiMAX Centre of Excellence" in Kuala Lumpur.
