IntelliScanner today unveiled IntelliScanner mini cubed. The smart scanner and software system uses barcode technology to automatically organize household items like movies, books and wine. Packaged in a metallic cube for easy storage, IntelliScanner mini cubed offers personalized asset tags and new software features for managing home assets.

IntelliScanner mini cubed includes a smart, ultra-portable barcode scanner and innovative software for organizing, searching and sharing collections. By scanning the barcode with IntelliScanner mini, the software will automatically track home assets and valuables, with special features to instantly identify books, wine, comics, DVDs, groceries and more. Users simply plug the scanner in to sync -- just like a digital camera -- and the software will download details like the book title, CD track or wine vineyard into a database.

Redesigned for 2009 with a black and chrome finish, IntelliScanner mini cubed is the smallest IntelliScanner ever -- about the size of a car keyless remote. The smart scanner includes an enhanced memory capacity for storing barcodes, increased scan performance for scanning barcodes quickly and a direct USB connection for easy downloading. A built-in rechargeable battery allows users to scan items anywhere -- in an office, basement or favorite store. Users simply plug the scanner in to sync and recharge.
