The Cheapest and Last Longest LED Bulb
Do you like this story?
Seem like now we are getting closer to mark another milestone. Cambridge University's team of researchers have done a very good job in bringing an LED bulb which can last up to 100,000 hours or 60 years. No, that is not enough for researchers, they also help the environment by not including mercury which can reduce carbon emissions by about 40 million tons.
To make their work looks even more magnificent, they replace the expensive sapphire with silicon wafers so everyone can save some money. We are expected to see this LED Bulb on the market for $2.85.
