In respond to the overwhelming needs of Eee PC, Asus CEO Jerry Shen will release a 8.9-inch Eee PC with a better capacity. The storage capacity will be SSDs with 8GB for Window and 12 to 20GB for 12GB or 20GB linux. Maybe you can grab the Linux version with more space. The Windows XP machine will have 1GB of RAM. The screen resolution on each of these will be 1024 x 600. They also planned to put WiMax and HSDPA but it will release in Q3 2008. For US it will be $499.
