With its outstanding innovation, BWM ConnectedDrive uses EDGE, which Apple use in the iPhone, for brings the "unrestricted access" to the World Wide Web to the car display. It means the driver and his passengers can surf the internet while traveling and catch up on the latest BMW's production models straight from the factory in the course of 2008. Sadly, the service is not available when the car exceeds a speed of 5 km/h. But with the optional DVD entertainment system, the internet function is added to allow the passenger on the rear seats to surf internet when driving higher speed above 5kk/h.
