TDK Talking About a 320GB Drive in 10 Layers

TDK Talking About a 320GB Drive in 10 Layers
The users we will never be happy with any amount of storage for our infinite collection of archives. Knowing this, TDK will take advantage of our need and speaks of an optical disc of nothing less than 320GB. For this incredible size they use 10 layers of information that can be read and be registered with the same blue lasers that we currently use for Blu-ray, something made possible by the use of layers as transparent (as demonstrates the superior picture - the disc of the right is of greater capacity). For now do not wait any details on pricing or launch dates, because this is still in prototype stage.
