56-inch Cinema 21:9 HDTV Philips Won't Land on U.S

Philips has brought a very good cinema display with 16:9 wide-screen aspect ratio. 21:9 and a 56-inch LCD with 2.39:1 format really make this one a very good choice for cinema. Anyway that won't be that good. A Philips spokesperson said that this display won't be available in US. What is going on with Philips? Philips also promises to announce more detail with this display so we can wait to see what Philips will do next.
