PS3 Sales Declined While Wii and Xbox 360 Rose

PS3 Sales Declined While Wii and Xbox 360 RoseSeem like PS3 now suffered another decline during these recent month. According to NPD, U.S. sales of the PS3 fell 19% last month from a year earlier, while sales doubled for the Wii console and rose 8% for the Xbox 360.

Regarding to the decline, the problems may be the high price of PS3. With the price of $399 it makes PS3 more expensive than its rivals. Sony has been trying to focus on high technology so the price must be higher. The Blu-ray high-definition video player and an 80-gigabyte hard drive is a big factor with this high price. Both Wii or Xbox 360 don't have this feature.

Meanwhile the world economic crisis may be the most important key factor behind this fall too. We are waiting to see what Sony will do to deal with this problem.
