TDK Released SATA-Compatible Industrial SSD Drives

TDK has released the GBDisk RS1 series of Serial ATA (SATA)-compatible industrial silicon disks with a maximum memory capacity of 16 Gbytes. It uses single level cell NAND flash memory and a GBDriver RS1 SATA controller which maintain data reliability while standing up to frequent, high-speed data writing. Reaching 16GB and 2.5-inch, this drive will be available in June 2008.
