Samsung to Step Out of Laptop Market?

Sukyong Hong, Samsung’s senior manager of overseas sales and marketing, said that the company would quite laptop market in three years if they can't triple sales. Now Samsung has only 1.7% of the global laptop market which it needs to increase up to 5.7% within three years to triple sales in three years. Samsung must ship 11 million laptops in 2011 to reach its objective. It will be helpful that Samsung will go to US market and some other European countries.
