Samsung Gets Ready for Water-Powered Cell Phones by 2010
Do you like this story?
Samsung Electro-Mechanics said that they can have your phone run on water by 2010. Samsung is working on a micro-fuel cell and hydrogen generator that runs on water, writes the Chosun Ilbo.
What you need is metal and water in the phone react to produce hydrogen gas which reacts with oxygen in the air to generate power. It is believed that the new fuel cell could power a handset for ten hours, twice as long as rechargeable batteries.
